No story to tell, just facts

  • The main point of this blog is to be the voice that reminds people that they have a say in what happens in their lives, they can choose thoughts and beliefs and therefore actions, that serve them.

Eg, if you’ve always believed that you have to suffer to get the things that you want in life, then the idea that great things can happen to you and through you, probably will seem far fetched, and feel like it won’t last or ‘too good to be true'( kind of like being alive is too good to be true, but you choosing not to appreciate it)

Another person could believe that they are worthy of wonderful things flowing into their existence , and they appreciate these things as they come and the idea of having to suffer to get everything they want ,is a thought they don’t entertain

  • We can pick and choose how we see things and it’s okay. In fact it’s great to question they way things ‘have  always been done’ as long as you know that you have the freedom to choose thoughts, feelings and actions that serve you.

  1. I love your thought. We often forget how powerful the mind is. It takes a simple thought from the past to change your current mood. I guess that is why Jesus advised us to forgive 7 times 70 times. Forgiveness allows your mind not to let go of what was done to you but allows your mind to release the continuous “THOUGH” of the act. Once you no longer on continuous thought of the act against you, you than allow you mind to focus on the future and what you deserve not what was lost. This in essence boils down to your initial idea of being free’d or being released by thoughts that imprison you.

The bible says as a man thinkith in his heart, so is he. You basically are what or how you think. If you constantly feel worthy you will receive. If you ask God for nothing its exactly what He will give you. We need to spring clean our minds from views of past let downs and failures. Having faith is a good way of training the mind to expect good to happen. The future does not have to be a copy and past of the past. The future can be a re mastered past, where you have the opportunity to fix the errors and present an error free present. Before a murderer gets to a victim, he has already committed the murder in his head. Your future starts in your head, that’s where the answers are hidden.

  2. I suppose I’m somewhere in the middle. I know that life isn’t and will never be easy and suffering is part of the package, but wonderful things sure do and will always happen to all of us. It just depends on how ready and willing you are to utilize and appreciate them.
Do me a favour and read some of my stories too; 🙂 Some are positively inspiring!

  3. I would assume that nobody likes to suffer, nor do people genuinely trust things easily received. I guess it would depend on what one has based their foundation of life on. As much as I believe in working for what I have, I do not want to miss those things freely given to me.

So the foundation I’ve been raised on, has taught me that God chose the things I aught to go through. As a result of free will He has allowed me the ability to choose how I go through them. The choice is the easy way or the hard way. Taking Jesus as an example, He suffered the most painful of suffering, but the vision of Him being able to save His “sheep” gave his suffering purpose. 1 Peter 5:10, God promises after a bit of suffering, He will then settle you. So my believe/foundation has equipped me with the knowledge that the suffering God puts us through is worth it as its to better us and not destroy us. The process He puts you through is not only purify but to give you a appreciation level of what you receive. This enables one to appreciate the value of what has been given. It gives you a better understanding of what has been given and also adds a value to it.

    1 Peter 5:10

“But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.”

  4. I believe God definitely created tough times for us to grow from, it’s a blessing, so thinking about it like that ( a lesson) is positive, other’s with negative perspective will probably think they are cursed or will not be able to accept things God give to them as ( good karma) , not everything has to be difficult, but depending on what u need to learn, some things might be hard in life ll, and others natural
